About us

My name is Matt Hinton. I was born and raised in Queanbeyan NSW a small town just outside the Australian Capital Territory. Currently I reside at Carwoola with my beautiful wife Kylie and baby Jessica. I am self employed and have owned and operated my own small upholstery shop in Queanbeyan for 13 years now.

I have had a successful racing career starting on my 13th birthday in Go Karts and have progressed through the ranks of Formula 500, Compact Speedcar, Lightning Sprints to the pinnacle forms of Sprintcars and Midgets (Speedcars) in which we now compete. I am fortunate enough to have had the opportunity along the way to have driven for some absolutely great teams, car owners and sponsors in which I thank greatly. All of which are still involved in our racing in some form still to this day.

In my spare time if I am not racing or at a racetrack I like to spend time with my wife, daughter and family. I also enjoy fishing and farming my sheep.
